The Overland NEO 2000 Library sets the standard for high availability by which all other libraries should be compared. The NEO 2000 provides up to 24 TB of capacity and 576 GB/hour of performance per tape drive (2:1 compression) and includes features such as LiveSwap tape drives assuring that your backup/restore system is providing non-stop operation. The NEO 2000 is designed to keep pace with your rapidly expanding data and protect your investment by scaling in configurations up to 240 cartridges and 16 drives. NEO lets you buy what you need, when you need it. For additional cost savings, add Overland's REO Series, giving you a disk-to-disk-tape (D2D2T) solution that combines the immediate restore capabilities of disk with the stability, portability and longevity of automated tape archival. Nonstop Operation and Remote Failover NEO is the only family of tape libraries that can be configured so that no single component failure can disable the entire library. You can have redundant robotics, drives, controller cards, and interfaces. Each module has an independent power source. NEO's LiveSwap technology allows you to remove and replace tape drives without interrupting SCSI bus operations. With NEO's unique fail-over design, scaled modules continue to operate even in the unlikely event that a library module fails. Every module is capable of being a central control for the entire library. You can complete the simple fail-over process through the front panel or remotely through the Internet. No re-cabling, No reconfiguration of host settings is required.
